Racing Update for August 14th Weekend

This past weekend was round 3 of the 2010 GLORCS series which holds races in Ontario,Quebec and New York state. Our hosts, Hardcore RC in Flamborough Ontario, built an all new fast and technical layout that was challenging and had plenty of room for side by side racing.

Sprucewood Team Losi Racing’s team captain Dave Henry swept the 1/8 classes with wins in nitro buggy, truggy and electric buggy with teamate Daniel Yachnin finishing 2nd in both nitro buggy & truggy. Dave TQ’d both the buggy and electric buggy classes with Daniel taking the truggy TQ honors. Losi dominated the nitro buggy class with the top 4 finishers choosing the 8ight 2.0 and 9 out of 15 total in the main. Losi also dominated the truggy class with 8ightT 2.0′s filling the top 4 spots. Congratulations to Brian Wynn for a strong 3rd place finish in nitro buggy and Team CRC’s own Frank Calandra for his third place in truggy.

STLR at CRC in Rome, New York, USA

Losi takes 1- 2- 3 in Pro Buggy & Truggy, First & Second in electric Buggy!

This past weekend STLR travelled to CRC raceway in Rome NY for round 1 in the RCPro east series. The track was a challenging layout that led to great side by side racing. The weather was against us on Saturday so all 200 plus racers hit the track hard on Sunday to finish round one and get in a second round with the mains.

After a long fun day, Billy Fischer took the Pro Buggy main followed by Anthony Mazzara and Dave Henry. Pro Truggy was also won by Fischer with Henry in second and Mazzara in third. Ebuggy was won by Mazzara with Henry in second.

STLR was proud to put all its drivers into the pro buggy main and all but one into the pro truggy main.

Big thanks to the Calandra’s and team CRC for a fun weekend.

Just because it’s cool…
